Allison was in the Marine Corps from 1990-1994. She went to Parris Island in July 1990 and graduated in October of that year, before being stationed at Camp Johnson for MOS training. As a legal clerk, she was part of Headquarters in Quantico, before going to Camp Pendleton for a few months, then Okinawa, Japan for the next year, where she continued as a legal clerk still connected to headquarters. After Okinawa, she was stationed in Norfolk, VA, and was the first female in USMC history to belong to Security Force Co in Norfolk. Allison’s 1st Sgt. was John Estrada, who became the Sgt. Major of Marine Corps, and then Ambassador of Trinidad. She was the first female to belong to his unit, where in addition to still being a legal clerk, she did ceremonies for Ambassadors of other countries, as well as guarding nuclear weapons. She was the only female amongst over 250 male marines. Following her Norfolk duty station, Allison left the Marines to continue her education; she worked as a paralegal for the 24 years before moving into telecom.
Her time with Pyramid started in May 2020 in site acquisition and project management, working on multiple projects nationwide.
