Kevin Herring

Director of Construction, West

Kevin Herring is the Director of Construction for the West Region at Pyramid, bringing a comprehensive 29-year perspective to every project. His career foundation was poured as a tower hand, giving him an invaluable ground-up understanding that he now applies to strategic leadership and project execution. Kevin finds the greatest satisfaction in guiding a project through its entire lifecycle, from initial site selection and bidding to final design and construction, ensuring seamless evolution from concept to completion.

A strategic and results-driven leader, Kevin holds a Project Management certification from Boston University and is known for his ability to think outside the box. He has called Surprise, Arizona, home for many years, where life is happily busy with his wife, their six children, and eight grandchildren. His downtime is spent on the golf course, traveling (his favorite destination is anywhere his wife chooses), and enjoying live music, a passion rooted in his years as a trumpet player who toured the country with a Drum and Bugle Corps.

A little-known fact about Kevin is that he played semi-pro baseball while serving in the U.S. Army in Texas. His adventurous spirit continues with a bucket list that includes traveling throughout Europe, flying an airplane, and learning to scuba dive. At home, he enjoys the company of his two pugs, Lola and Coco.
